Savannah Street Music specializes in the production of music and the development of artists. At Savannah Street Music, we PREPARE, PRODUCE and MARKET emerging ARTISTS by working with each individual to develop their brands and achieve their goals.
Based in the Minneapolis area, USA, Savannah Street Music was founded in the ’90s by music production partners Ben Obi and Dr. Pele with Dennis Green, former head coach of the Minnesota Vikings NFL football team. Upon the departure of Dennis Green and Dr. Pele, Ben Obi assumed full ownership of Savannah Street Music.
Ben Obi
British born, Nigerian, Ben Obi is an internationally accredited music producer and engineer that has worked and negotiated deals with a diverse group of artists and companies from around the world. In addition to working with most of the major music labels, Ben Obi has negotiated and facilitated performance deals with major Minneapolis based corporations such as Boy Scouts of America, UNCF, General Mills Foundation, Minneapolis Urban League, and the Minneapolis Downtown Council. He also was an adjunct instructor and music educator at the Minneapolis Media Institute. Currently, as chief engineer for Savannah Street Music, Ben Obi concentrates his efforts on mixing, music production, and developing and breaking new artists.
